September 2011 - Berhampore Homes Opening
The Trust's new four four-bedroom homes were officially opened on Thursday 29th September by Phil Heatley, the Minister for Housing.
"I am always delighted to see Government funding being used to grow social and affordable housing by a provider like the Wellington Housing Trust", said Minister Heatley.

The Berhampore project is an other milestone in the Trust's vision to be the leading partner and provider of community housing in the Wellington Region.
"We are very proud of this project which will truly make a difference for Wellington City and in particular to our families who need affordable housing", says Trust Director Alison Cadman.
"Our tenants come from a diverse range of backgrounds and have a diverse range of needs. Our vision is for mixed communities as we know they encourage social engagement and positively affect health, education and employment outcomes."
The opening was also featured in the Dominion Post article acute housing shortage needs more than a few grants.
